CICC-China Automotive Japan-Korea Center Established

Recently, the establishment and inauguration ceremony of CCICAutomotive Japan-Korea Center was held in Tokyo, Japan. The establishment of the center will effectively strengthen the cooperation and exchange with Japan and Korea in technology research and development, standard certification, financial research, etc., and further promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry.

  Mr. Liu Yanbin, General Manager of CICC Japan and Korea, said in his speech that Japan and Korea have China’s mandatory certification and voluntary certification and testing capabilities, especially in the field of new energy vehicles has assisted China’s new energy enterprises to carry out new energy vehicles overseas road adaptability test, charging compatibility test, T-BOX intelligent Internet connection test, intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving test. With the platform of China CICC – China Automotive Japan and Korea Center, it can better provide domestic automotive enterprises with technical services such as certification and testing to go abroad.

 Liu Ming, Vice President of CIRC Beijing Institute and Director of Political Research and Consulting Center, introduced the overall construction of China Automotive Overseas Center and the operation idea of Japan-Korea Center. He said that the Japan-Korea Center will become an important bridge for Chinese automobile enterprises to go to the Japanese and Korean markets, and looked forward to further promoting technical exchanges, market cooperation and win-win innovation between the Chinese and foreign automobile industries through this platform.

   In the presence of China CICC Korea, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), relevant officials of CITIC in Japan and representatives of Chinese automobile enterprises, Liu Yanbin and Liu Ming jointly unveiled the plaque of the center, and China CICC – China Automotive Japan-Korea Center was formally established.

 During the ceremony, the representatives also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the future outlook of cooperation in the automotive industry, opportunities for mutual benefits and win-win situations, exchange of experience in the field of automotive finance and the importance of technological innovation.

 Representatives of China CICC Japan-Korea Region and China Automotive Research Institute (CARI), representatives of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and CITIC in Japan, as well as representatives of leading domestic automobile enterprises attended the ceremony.
