Xu Zengde Leads a Delegation to Visit SEARI

   On the afternoon of July 31, Xu Zengde, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), paid a visit to Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. (SEARI). He held discussions with Wu Yehua, Chairman and President of SEARI, and Wang Aiguo, Secretary of SEARI’s Party Committee. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on coordinated development across traditional and emerging business areas, complementary resource strengths, and deeper strategic cooperation.

    Xu Zengde thanked SEARI for its long-term strong support to CCIC. He noted that CCIC undertakes core missions including supporting national strategies, building international influence in quality governance, boosting industrial upgrading, and helping competitive Chinese industries expand overseas. The group will continue to deepen cooperation with SEARI and fully engage in the development of advanced manufacturing in the Yangtze River Delta.

    He expressed the hope that this meeting will serve as a new starting point for both parties.     Facing new momentum for industrial transformation and upgrading, he hoped both sides can build on existing strengths, seize development opportunities and expand cooperation scope. The two parties aim to form an integrated development framework featuring certification empowerment, technology support and industrial linkage. On the basis of current cooperation, SEARI looks forward to deeper complementary collaboration in emerging sectors such as carbon footprint management, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and low-altitude economy.

     During the visit, Xu Zengde toured SEARI’s exhibition hall and the Robotics Functional Platform.
