On the afternoon of July 31, Xu Zengde, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), paid a visit to Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. (SEARI). He held discussions with Wu Yehua, Chairman and President of SEARI, and Wang Aiguo, Secretary of SEARI’s Party Committee. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on coordinated development across traditional and emerging business areas, complementary resource strengths, and deeper strategic cooperation.
Xu Zengde thanked SEARI for its long-term strong support to CCIC. He noted that CCIC undertakes core missions including supporting national strategies, building international influence in quality governance, boosting industrial upgrading, and helping competitive Chinese industries expand overseas. The group will continue to deepen cooperation with SEARI and fully engage in the development of advanced manufacturing in the Yangtze River Delta.
He expressed the hope that this meeting will serve as a new starting point for both parties. Leveraging Shanghai’s concentrated strengths in high-end manufacturing, artificial intelligence and new energy industries, the two sides will carry out multi-dimensional collaboration to achieve win-win results and jointly drive high-quality development of regional industries, in response to major national strategic needs.Wu Yehua extended a warm welcome to Xu Zengde and his team. He introduced SEARI’s development legacy, core technological capabilities and industrial layout. He stated that SEARI and CCIC share a long-standing, solid partnership and have grown alongside each other through joint collaboration.
During the visit, Xu Zengde toured SEARI’s exhibition hall and the Robotics Functional Platform.
